旅游英语作文 篇1

The May Day golden week went to several places to play, and let people forget to return.

Chen Clan Academy is a very good museum. At the time of the May Day, many silver tableware and silver furniture were displayed in Chen Clan Academy, and more than a dozen printed ceramics were placed. These precious and priceless treasures have attracted many visitors to enjoy and take pictures.

The Changlong water park is the most worthy of Guangzhou. A short waterway, about 500 meters long and about 30 meters wide, is laid in paradise, with a skyscraper next to it. There are surf games and water splashing games on the short waterway. Tourists are immersed in the world of water, and they forget to return.

Yuexiu park is also famous. Recently, many tourists go to Yuexiu park to play surf. This game I had in Yuexiu Park, the ancient building beside the bat met, when a small hard Tiechuan rushed down, hit a wave of waves. The man sat in it as if he had seen a piece of glass of water; if it fell down, it might spatter, and it was very exciting.

Foshan Park, Xiaogang Park, is a sea of flowers. Looking at it, a group of flowers come to his eyes. If a gust of wind blows, the petals float around like the sea arouses a wave. If people see it, how happy it will be! It's going to be a lot of praise for the flowers!

The gold of the May Day is a precious time. Travel, see things, this holiday is meaningful and colorful!

Dingling, the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li, is one of the thirteen imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Emperor Wan Li (1573-1620) ordered the construction of his own tomb when he was 22 and it took six years to complete the construction which cost about two year's land taxes of the entire empire. The Emperor gave a party in his own funeral chamber, so the chronicles say, to mark its completion, and thirty years later he was buried in it amid a splendid ceremony.

The tomb was excavated in 1958 and has since been open to the public as an underground museum.

Some fifty kilometers northwest of Beijing city center, the group of tombs (known as Ming Tombs) near Dingling are scattered around the southern slopes of the Heavenly Longevity Mountains(1), bounded by hills on three sides with a southern exposure to an open plain.

The approach to the Ming Tombs is a shaded 7-kilometer-long road known as the Sacred Way. Its beginning is marked with a marble archway standing 27 meters long and 15 meters high. The marble archway is similar to the triumphal arches of Europe (Paris, Rome, Berlin, etc.). This archway, one of the finest and best preserved in the country, was erected in 1540, at a time when Chinese architecture had reached its climax.

A stone table nearby proclaims that entrants must dismount at this point and proceed on foot, that admittance beyond the archway was forbidden to ordinary citizens, and that violating this law was punishable by death.

Further on, this road is lined with gigantic stone statues, 24 of lions, camels, elephants, horses, and mythical animals and 12 of generals, civil mandarins, and courtiers(2).

Dingling consists of the underground palace and surface structures, most of which are now in ruin, leaving the magnificent soul Tower still standing in a spacious courtyard. Each corner of the Tower is a single block of stone.

tourism, a smokeless industry, is developing rapidly in china. with the open and reform policy being carried out, thousands upon thousands of foreign visitors are crowding into our country.

the are eager to see this old mysterious land with a splendid culture of more than 5000 years. tourism brings china a lot of benefits. first it enables the chinese people to know more about the outside world and promotes friendship and mutual understanding. second , it is financially beneficial to china, which needs more foreign currencies for its modernization program. tourism, however, gives rise to a number of problems. for instance, it becomes a burden to our inefficient transportation system.

besides, the living standard of the average chinese is still not high enough to be able to afford the many different sorts of epenses during long distance travels. as for me, i believe that with the development of our national economy, all these problems will certainly be solved step by step.

a much better and brighter future awaits.

旅游英语作文 篇4

Have been a travelling by train for about 3h, the journey was tiring. I arrived in our province's capital city-Nanning,a green city in south China.

I met ,then she showed me around the downtown including Walmart,Xingning walking street, the bund, ect. There is a drinks machine in the street that offers passers by free drinkable water. They had the same thing in my city, but people used the water to wash their hands which ruined the machines. On the contrary, Ningningese tend to protect every piece of public property. When a little boy wanted to wash his hands, his mother stopped him immediately and told him," **,you should not use the water to wash your hands, the water is for drinking."

In the evening I walked to see the Guangxi Peoples' Hall and Mendzhidao shopping mall. The next day,I cycled to Langdong new district where the Nanning international exhibition is located. The exhibition is built for CAEXPO. The bike broke during my way back, but a student from Guangxi University kindly gave me a lift. On the last day i got up early to go to Qingxiushan e I enjoyed the scenery and prayed to the buddhas for my future.

旅游英语作文 篇5

On the green grass, a plastic bottle rolls with the wind. Will you pick it up and throw it into the trash can nearby? Clear creek, a can is particularly eye-catching, you kicked it into the river or pick it up? In the eleven golden week, I encountered these two things in Qiandao Lake and Taishan. The result was really distressing, and the quality of the Chinese people should be seen here.

On the trail of the Thousand Island Lake, a young girl threw a Kunlun Mountains mineral water bottle into the lawn. I picked it up and ran to the little girl. "Children, it's not right to litter."." At this moment, her father, a middle-aged man with sunglasses, gave me a contemptuous look and walked away with the little girl's hand. Obviously, he wanted to escape the question. Or, in his eyes, "this is not my home" - the son does not teach, the father of the past, you said that this person is insignificant? If everyone throws a drink bottle on the lawn, the consequences will always be imagined.

The artillery Taishan farmhouse near the gurgling streams with rolling hills, good scenery! Suddenly, a bottle fell into the water -- a boy was kicking a can. I was silent, and I got the cans out of the water. Not long after, he kicked the cans down the water again. I'm angry: "nature is our own. Why do you destroy the environment?"" He didn't say angrily: "do you want to be?" This tone, I hate not a brick knock him to death! What a bad upbringing!

Although the atmosphere of civilized tourism in China is much better than that of the past two years, there is still much room for improvement. The government should step up publicity so as to make people behave more civilized and more competent. I sincerely hope that I will never see littering again, which is contrary to civilization!
